This workshop explores assessment & movement based interventions of thoracic spine function within a paradigm of integrated movement. During this course, you will learn a principle based approach to creating strategies for assessment and testing of the thoracic spine, including techniques to improve mobility & stability. You will also learn ways to teach and enhance diaphragmatic breath and load the entire system via the concept of loaded movement training, performed in order to improve tissue mobility. Utilizing a principle-strategy-application process, attendees will explore assessment and design solutions that influence the thoracic spine and whole body. Learn easy practical solutions for patients and clients:
Objectives:
- Identify difference between type 1 and 2 thoracic motion
- Discuss structure specific integrated assessment techniques to test motion, mobility and stability of the thoracic spine
- Implement loaded movement concepts to enhance and preserve thoracic spine motion
No certificate will be issued for course.
