In this course clinical tests for ACL and meniscus injuries are demonstrated. Various tests are examined for functionality and reliability. This course will give clinicians the tool to confidently examine knee injuries for treatment and rehabilitation.
Course Objectives
- Review the criteria for the Knee Rules to screen for fractures.
- Integrate critical analysis of current professional literature in the selection of clinical tests for the diagnosis of ligamentous or meniscal pathology
- Describe the importance of proper positioning for ACL & meniscal testing
- Discriminate between the use of tests for screening vs. diagnostic tests for the meniscus
- Identify the best combination of tests for meniscal pathology
